Stump Grinding in Rocklin, CA
In Rocklin the gate is usually the whole job.
Tract lots are short and the backyard has one entrance — a side yard maybe forty inches wide, with an AC condenser, a hose reel, and a gate that swings the wrong way. The stump is somewhere past all of it, usually against a fence.
Our machine is 36 inches, which clears most of these. What catches people out is the turn at the end of the side yard, or a step down into the yard that the gate width doesn't tell you about. Send a photo looking down the side yard and one of the gate itself and we'll know before we drive out.

Vinyl fence, HOA lawns, and what the yard looks like after
Rocklin fences are mostly vinyl, and vinyl marks. We work the machine in and out without dragging it along a fence line, and we don't bounce the cutter off a shared panel to reach the last inch of a stump.
The grind goes 6 to 12 inches down and we rake the hole out. Chips stay off the sidewalk and out of the gutter, which matters more here than most places because someone will notice. If your HOA wants the lawn looking finished, plan on backfilling with soil and patching the sod — we get the wood out and the area clean, but we're not a landscape crew.
Parkway oaks and roots under the sidewalk
The street trees in a lot of Rocklin neighborhoods send surface roots under the lawn and up against the sidewalk edge. We grind the roots that are lifting the walk or ridging the sod.
What we won't do is strip out so much root that you damage a tree you're keeping. Show us which ones are actually causing the trouble and we'll take those.
